Message from Helena

"A dragonfly symbolises renewal, change, positive energy and the power of life in general.
Dragonflies also represent the sense of self that comes with maturity.
A dragonfly has a short life and so must live life to the full with the short time it has.
May you too find these things through the practice of Healing Yoga."

Welcome to Healing Yoga Teaching & classes in Peterborough

“There are many reasons why a person might choose to practise yoga; in broad terms, the purpose of yoga is to reduce disturbances and to return an individual to his or her inherent peace and power” – TKV Desikachar
Introduction to Healing Yoga
Healing Yoga (Peterborough) is dedicated to health, healing and personal development through yoga.  It offers supportive teaching to help you keep well, make changes to your lifestyle and promote personal and spiritual growth.
Healing yoga is a holistic and gentle approach which selects appropriate therapeutic tools from the full wealth of yoga practices:
  • posture work
  • conscious breathing techniques
  • visualisations
  • meditative practices
  • simple vocal techniques
  • lifestyle and dietary advice based on ayurveda
  • guided self-enquiry
We choose what is right for a person – the only prerequisites are that you are willing to learn and that you can breathe!
