Introduction to Healing Yoga
Healing Yoga (Peterborough) is dedicated to health, healing and personal development through yoga. It offers supportive teaching to help you keep well, make changes to your lifestyle and promote personal and spiritual growth.
Healing yoga is a holistic and gentle approach which selects appropriate therapeutic tools from the full wealth of yoga practices:

- simple vocal techniques
- lifestyle and dietary advice based on ayurveda

Meet the Teacher
Healing Yoga is offered in Peterborough by Helena del Pino who is renowned for her sensitivity to the needs of each student and for her faith in her students’ capacity to make the changes they need to find a
more healthy and peaceful life.
Helena works with healthy people looking to enhance their life through yoga and also offers specialist tuition to those with specific health needs such as breast and other cancers, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions, ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia, back pain, arthritis, stress/insomnia, high blood pressure and depression and anxiety. Helena is also a specialist pregnancy yoga teacher.
Helena receives referrals from local GPs, breast cancer nurses, hospice workers, physiotherapists, counsellors, chiropractors and midwives.
Helena has been teaching yoga in Peterborough since 1997 and has been practising yoga since 1993.
Her qualifications are:
- Certified Teacher with the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation – and
- Advanced Teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga –
- Registered Yoga Therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council –
- Fully Qualified Pregnancy Yoga Teacher with the Yoga for Health Foundation –
Helena undertakes many hours of continuing professional development training each year and her KHYF mentor is Sarah Ryan. Helena also offers meditative walks on her canvas labyrinth and enjoys adapting yoga practices for Christians wishing to enhance their prayer life.
